Job Overview (What You’ll Do):
Cotopaxi is looking for a Senior Manager of U.S. Wholesale to lead the growth and execution of our wholesale strategy nationwide. This is a high-impact role for a strategic, results-oriented sales leader who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and has a strong track record of driving revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for managing key wholesale partnerships, owning sales forecasting, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure operational alignment across Finance, Product, Planning, and Marketing. This role also serves as a critical voice of the customer—bringing marketplace insights back to inform product development and channel strategy. Job Responsibilities (How You’ll Do It):
- Own the U.S. wholesale sales forecast and partner with Finance, Operations, and Planning teams to align inventory flow and demand planning.
- Drive execution of the wholesale sales strategy in line with company growth goals and brand positioning.
- Deliver revenue, margin, and market share growth across national and regional accounts, specialty retailers, and independent partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams to support key initiatives and achieve sales targets.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Leverage tools such as SPS Analytics, B2B platforms, and EDI systems to improve visibility, efficiency, and partner experience.
- Lead seasonal and annual line planning conversations with wholesale partners using data-driven insights and sell-through analytics.
- Cultivate and grow strategic relationships with top wholesale accounts to drive long-term partnership value.
The Ideal Candidate (What You Need to Succeed):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in wholesale sales, with a strong preference for leadership experience at a comparable brand.
- Proven track record of forecasting, achieving, and exceeding sales targets within the U.S. market.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach.
- Highly analytical and tech-savvy, with experience using CRM systems, sales platforms, and reporting dashboards.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with the outdoor retail industry and a strong understanding of current market trends.
